UPDATE - I've removed the PayPal links used to order images. Email me if you want to order anything. Thanks, Mark.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The photos on the site are reduced quality/resolution to enable quick download (most photos are reduced to around 50 or 60KB).
I've used various cameras to take the photos. Notes under each photo state the original photo information. They are -
- From North Korea 2009 onwards, most are 10.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix TZ7 digital photos. Some of the UK ones are also TZ7 images. - From 2007 to 2009, most are taken with a 7.1 megapixel Canon Powershot digital camera. Originals are between 1.5MB and 5MB memory. - From 2004 to 2006, most are 3.2 megapixel Olympus digital photos. - The photos of Benin are 300 dpi scanned images of 3.2 megapixel Olympus photos (I lost the original digital photos - doh!). - Most others are 200 or 300 dpi scanned photos of 35mm cameras. - Poor quality 110-camera photos (Israel & Egypt only)
TO ORDER *PayPal is my only method of payment* 1. Click on the link underneath each photo and you will be taken to the PayPal website.
2. Log-in to PayPal, and ensure the photo reference number and your postal address are correct.
3. I will email the photos to you. *IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPACE IN YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT TO ENABLE RECEIPT OF LARGE MEMORY FILES* I advise saving the photos to your computer, then deleting the email to free up memory.
4. The end!

Examples of (near) original quality photos -
The 7.1 megapixel photo below is still vastly reduced in terms of measurement (which in turn reduces memory) but gives an idea of the quality of the originals -
Millenium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral - London
The 3.2 megapixel photo below is reduced in terms of measurement (which in turn reduces memory) but gives an idea of the quality of the originals. (Original is over 8 times the memory size of the one below) -
One of the ancient churches at Lalibela, Ethiopia
Again the scanned 35mm photo below is reduced in memory compared to the original, but gives an idea of quality -
A market in Udaipur, India
