Just before I went back home, I spent Christmas 1995 and the New Year in Dahab, Egyptian Sinai with friends who were also working in Eilat.

I took absolutely no photos while in Dahab - oh well!

It's a great place to do nothing, lying on restaurant cushions and eating constantly. There's more rustic/quieter versions of Dahab all along the Gulf of Aqaba/Sinai Peninsula.
